How to contribute to Packed with Potential

Packed With Potential's purpose is to uncover and understand Anne Lister's life and historical context through open, collaborative and accessible research and references. This site is a hub for individuals pursuing independent research to reference, contribute and publish resources and new work.

We welcome all types of contributions. Every person with an interest in Anne Lister is qualified to join our group of Lister Nerds. No previous research experience or particular technical expertise is expected.

  • You can join and add to any of the existing projects logging new information or researching the existing data, as well as suggest new additions or edits to the various resources we maintain.

  • If you are pursuing a new project and looking for people to work with, we can help connect you with others to collaborate with as well as support you in editing, publishing and maintaining your project on the site or elsewhere.

  • If you are an #annelistercodebreaker we can help you set up a blog, social media account or anything else that would help you engage with the larger code-breaker community.
